The author about his book:
It’s been 29 years since that August. I suddenly began to notice that people confuse the Moscow putsches of 1991 and 1993. Or even consider them to be one event.
Those who were born in the XXI century do not really understand what it was. Some speculation, tales, conspiracy theories arise.
But for me it was quite recently. On the films of 91s there are living faces on those streets, on those barricades, on that armor. I can remember that like it was yesterday.
The book includes 80 images of the events of August 19-24, 1991 in Moscow, the author’s text, eyewitness memories, and 28 pages of major newspapers of those days.
! The book is published in Russian.
