The images presented show my own shots, as well as my screenshots from video archives belonging to families unknown to me.

The images are separated by a generation, about a quarter of a century. Looking at them, we are simultaneously in two tenses, connecting them again in our narrative, using the memory of childhood, adult responsibility and feeling.

This experience provides an understanding, a sought-after connection that could have been lost.
