Description
The project began with an eight-hour practice of inaction. Inaction is the urge to give up action while a very intense action is going on inside. The intension for action originates in inaction. Inaction can be seen as one way of resisting intertentive action.
The space of inaction formed mental itineraries that I recreated externally through walks. In this way the unarticulated experience and chain of reflection within the practice was reflected in the documentation of the walk. The walk itself is a reconstruction of the perceptual experience that took place within the inaction. Action hovered in the gap between inner and outer space.
