Description
The project started with a folder of photos of renovations found on the internet, I sorted them aimlessly into categories. Then I started using construction and repair materials in my installations. For a year I lived in a room with renovation installations. It was a way of realizing and feeling the restructuring that was happening inside me, a way of living the changes.
The project coalesced into a series of performative photographs; the room builds up a kind of catalog of bodily experiences, an archive of states that settle into the body. The images of the installations in the room are mixed with images found on the internet. The information background penetrates into the personal space and the boundary between virtual and real is lost.
