«The Artefacts» is a symbiosis between a photobook and a conceptual poetry collection. In this book, the visual part and the verbal part are equivalent and equitable. They complement each other, and together they form a new complex narrative.

This book is based on the archetypal Hero’s Journey story (it is the common template of stories that involve a hero who goes on an adventure, is victorious in a decisive crisis, and comes home changed or transformed). This book invites the readers to take a trip into the Microcosm, into the inner universe, into the ocean of the unconscious. Each reader can find their own way and create their own story. In the end, this book makes each reader a co-author and co-creator.

«The Artefacts» is a fruit of the year 2020. Strictly speaking, it is not a documentary book. But in fact, it absorbed the spirit of this chaotic and insane year. So, metaphorically, this book can be called a testimony of 2020.
