The book is based on a series of photographs made by during 2008-2011 in Saint Petersburg using the old camera from the Soviet times, which takes 72 photos on normal 35 mm roll. Half frame format, splitting the standard frame in two, led to using paired images as a single "montage cells". Doubled frames sometimes form a single image and sometimes give birth to a short story, playfully embedding themselves into the abstract story of the book.
