Vspyshechnaya is a photography project with a focus on film and flash, created by St. Petersburg-based photographer Denis Ryabov. What started two years ago on  social networks as way to share photos and collections has now grown into a full-fledged photography zine, representing 18 artists.

Driven by point-and-shoot photography aesthetics and the desire to share and communicate, Denis formed a community of like-minded photographers from among his friends and associates. “It’s always interesting to see the way people reflect reality and their world, in this case using flash,” says Denis. ”They probably won’t even see each other but I united them in one book. And I find it to be very important.”
