Taking the "Moscow diary" by Walter Benjamin as a basis for her project, Anastasia freely interprets it, waves times and spaces into one work. As if Moscow in the photographs were the city of the third hero - someone between her and Benjamin.
The visible and perceived space of the city varies from year to year, but some artifacts and phenomena remain unchanged for decades. This framework, which determines the sensations of the city, is often pushed out of the field of attention as being too familiar and therefore unnoticed. The words from the book lift it to the surface, lead the attention of the photographer  when she walks around the city. She stops to shut herself off from what is happening, allowing it to turn into an emotionally sensual experience.
