Description
“Eos” is a visual journey through the inner landscapes of the Stolby Nature Reserve, located on the border with the city of Krasnoyarsk, in the heart of the Siberian taiga. For 200 years, a hidden community has existed in this land of peculiar syenite rocks, founded on special relationships with the landscape, connections between people, and the concept of freedom. The book intertwines photographs from nine years of my life within the Stolbism culture, where my identity and relationships with the world were formed. Through nocturnal wanderings and countless encounters with the sun, moon, and stars, “Eos” offers a glimpse into the lesser-known aspects of this popular tourist destination.
“Eos” is the ancient Greek goddess of dawn, the messenger of the arrival of light and the departure of darkness.
