The book is about mountains, people and food. This is the story of how two guys – photographer Oksana Danilova and cameraman Romka Chekanes, lived and worked as cooks for 6 months at the foot of mount Elbrus at an altitude of 3800m. There they were cooking, washing tons of dishes, went hiking, experienced the mountain sickness “gornyashka”, met people from all over the world, lived in a tent for month and collected material for a future book. The photobook “Mountain kitchen” includes photos, stories, videos and sounds (in QR-codes), tips from climbers and recipes of mountain cuisine.
